I live in a family where I am the youngest one. Before so, I want to start this by telling you about my parents, then my brother and sisters. I have parents who have the same origin culture. My last name is inherited from my father which resulted an additional family name, Nasution. Unfortunately, my father had passed away. Since that, it has been my mother who managed and controlled everything on this family. My father used to work in ship area where he is the container driver who will take it from the ship to the target place. Different with my mother. She didn't have a job but she is a workaholic. She has five rooms and she made it for rent. It is not only that. She also makes an ice-coloured candle-formed, and occasionally sells her mango or take a labor job such as placing ropes to the holes in plastic container as a handle that we usually use for drink, or wrapping some food, or another else. At home, she tries to be busy with household jobs or she could bored to death. She is not like any mother. She is independent, she is very supportive to her child, she is her child's lovely friend, she is very respectful, she is thoughtful, wise and not a fancy woman. So as my father, they both share the same benefit. Our family is not that strong patriarchal system, it does not really look at gender's responsibility, we do not look at that and we team work. In conclusion, I love my family no matter what.
